The FFESSM Advanced Nitrox will allow you to dive with a mix enriched in Oxygen.

With the Advanced Nitrox you’ll be trained in the use of an extra Nitrox tank to optimise safety and reduce the length of decompression stops.  When you use only one tank decompression is long and not optimised.  By using an extra tank with a Nitrox deco mix you can accelerate your decompression and half the time of your stops.  You’ll spend less time at safety stops consuming gas, drifting and getting cold.  You’ll get back to the surface faster and more comfortably.

You can stay longer underwater and return faster.  It’s the reason many divers choose this specialty.  It also means you’re less tired due to less Nitrogen loading for a given dive profile.

What you can do after certification:

Prerequisites:

• Basic Nitrox.
• 16 years old (permission from parents for miners).
• Niveau 2 or equivalent.
• Medical certificate.

Competences you’ll acquire:

The Advanced Nitrox course enables you to use a rich Oxygen mix.  You’ll deepen your knowledge about the advantages and inconveniences.  You’ll be able to anticipate the incidents that can arise due to the specifics of this type of diving.  The qualification allows you to use mixes with a 02 percentage of between 40% and 100%.  You’ll learn how to analyse a Nitrox tank, rules about identifying the tanks, using Nitrox specific equipment, dive organisation and planning, using a multi-gas dive computer, and comfortably using an extra tank.

What’s different with Aqualonde?
