The PADI “Scuba Diver” represents the first step in your diver training.  This certification permits you to evolve underwater, all over the world, under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.

The course is quick, designed for clients without much time, or those who have very busy schedules.  It is also suited to those who need more than one or two dives to make up their minds about diving.  The Scuba Diver course is, in fact, the first part of the PADI Open Water Diver Course.  It’s therefore easy to upgrade this first certification to become a 100% autonomous diver.

The theory can be done via eLearning before your holiday, meaning we’ll just have to do a check via a quiz, and then dive.  Your studies will be completed by learning specific techniques in the sea.

Prerequisites

• To want to do it.
• 10 years old.
• Able to swim.
• No previous diving experience necessary, you can try diving with the Aqualonde Experience.
• Be medically fit to dive.

Course length

4 or 5 dives according to option chosen (can be reduced by one dive if you did the Aqualonde Experience with us)

Organisation and booking

RDV at 2.00 or 2.30pm at our dive base in La Londe les Maures.

When you reserve you’ll choose the date of your first lesson.  At the same time we’ll establish the dates of the next two or three lessons (if you want all of the dates please specify whilst booking).

What’s different with Aqualonde?

• Many hotels and restaurants nearby, for all budgets.  La Londe Les Maures is at the heart of the Côte d’Azur, between Hyères and St Tropez, in one of the most preserved areas due to the “Port Cros” National Park and the summer residence of the President of the Republic : “Fort Bregançon”.  We’re located on the port, with a big car park, a departure point for the ferries to the Golden Islands and all public transport connections.  There are many other activities available for all of the family while you’re making bubbles!

Once you’ve got the PADI “Scuba Diver” certification you can gain more independence and dive with a buddy without direct supervision from a PADI Pro by becoming a PADI “Open Water Diver”.  You’ve just got a few more bubbles to liberate!
